FAQ

1. Why would my brand need a custom image library?

A custom image library gives your brand a consistent set of visuals that fits your identity, audience and goals. Instead of relying on generic stock photos, you get imagery that feels intentional, recognisable and ready to use across different touchpoints.

2. Why use a custom image library instead of stock photography?

Stock photography can fill space, but it rarely reflects the look, feel and positioning of your brand. A custom library helps you create stronger recognition, more consistency and visuals that feel like they were made for your brand from the start.

3. Where can I legally use the images?

That depends on the rights attached to the final deliverables and on what appears in the image. In the Netherlands, the creator typically owns the copyright to the image, but identifiable people may also have portrait rights, which means publication can require permission.

4. Can you work with our existing photography?

Yes. We can refine existing photography so it feels more aligned with your brand, for example by adjusting styling, mood, colour, composition or the overall finish. We can also adapt model imagery by changing clothing, hairstyles or other details, and in some cases add people into existing scenes to bring in more warmth, life and emotion.

5. What if real people appear in the images and you want to edit them with AI?

If real identifiable people are involved, we first work with written permission and a signed agreement before making AI-based edits. That matters because publication of portrait images often requires permission under Dutch portrait-right rules, and photos of identifiable people can also fall under privacy rules depending on how they are used.

6. Why is AI image content valuable for my brand?

AI image content can help you create more visual consistency, produce assets faster and build a stronger brand presence across different channels. The real value is not simply making more images, but creating the right visuals in the right style for the right audience.

7. What can I use AI images and content for?

AI visuals can be used for websites, presentations, internal communication, social media, campaigns, newsletters, pitch decks and print, depending on the rights and permissions attached to the final assets. When built as part of a brand system, they give you more flexibility without losing consistency.

8. How does this help with visibility and sales?

Consistent visual content helps your brand show up more clearly and more often. When your imagery feels aligned across channels, it becomes easier to build recognition, support campaigns and create a stronger foundation for trust, engagement and eventually sales.

9. How do you make sure AI content still feels authentic to my brand?

We build every visual around your brand identity, audience and visual direction. That means the content is not created as a one-off image, but as part of a larger system designed to feel consistent, relevant and true to your brand.

10. Should AI-generated content be disclosed?

Our advice is yes. We recommend being transparent about the use of AI in content creation and clearly mentioning it where relevant. That is also aligned with the EU AI Act’s transparency framework for certain AI-generated or manipulated content, including deepfakes, with key transparency rules applying from 2 August 2026.
